Refurnished Science Center Provides a "Full Campus Experience"
The Philip H. Ryan Health Science Center at Bay Path University has been designed to serve the needs of students in master’s degree programs in Occupational Therapy and Physician Assistant Studies. The center includes spacious common areas for both formal group study and informal study, as well as comfortable seating options for between-class breaks, a café, a library resource room, and more.
The architect and designer aimed to create a contemporary yet professional academic learning environment that promoted interaction and collaboration. Furnishings for these areas needed to be flexible while blending function and style.
The Phillip H. Ryan Health Science Center is furnished with KI furniture in learning spaces, lounges, breakrooms, the café, offices, and more. It features the fresh look of mesh seating; an abundance of stylish, comfortable lounge seating; and Lightline walls that visually unify architecture and furnishings.
Feedback from the staff and students has been overwhelmingly positive. The center provides a “full campus experience” and is well-suited for graduate students. The center was awarded the Outstanding Design – Common Areas – 2015 American School and University Educational Interiors Showcase.
