Simple Design with Elegant Adaptability

Strive stack chairs adapt for both playful and sophisticated environments with an assortment of colors and materials. They support movement with a slatted flex back and contoured curves. Stack chair styles include 4-leg, 4-leg with casters, sled base or wallsaver. Optional upholstery and arm styles allow for versatility and function.

A Flex Comfort

Slatted back and steel supports allow back to flex for increased comfort.

Available as all poly, with upholstered seat or with upholstered seat and back.

Available with cantilever arms, loop arms, flip-up tablet arm, flipup oversize tablet arm or ChangeUp (flip/fold/pivot) tablet arm.

D Glides

4-leg chairs - three glides (plastic, steel or felt). Sled base chairs - four glides (non-skid, plastic, steel or felt).

E Casters

4-Leg – Choose from carpet casters or three glides: plastic, steel, or felt.
Sled – Choose from four glides: non-skid, plastic, steel, or felt.

F Stacking

4-leg and sled base chairs stack 15-high on dolly and 4-high on floor (poly). 4-leg chairs with casters stack 4-high on floor. Chairs with tablet arms do not stack. Transport dolly for ease of movement and storage

Stackability

For ease of relocation and storage, Strive stack chairs can stack 4-high on the floor. On a dolly, 4-leg and sled base chairs stack 15-high with poly seats and stack 8-high with upholstered seats.

Arm Options

Low profile cantilever arms are available on all base styles while loop arms are available on 4-leg, 4-leg with casters and sled base. The armrest color matches the frame finish except when chrome and metallic finishes are specified, in which case the arms match the shell poly color.

Casters and Glides

Select from carpet casters, plastic glides, steel glides, or felt glides to protect and adapt to any flooring type, with non-skid glides available for sled base chairs.

Tablet Arm Options

To accommodate the needs of any space, Strive stack chairs are available with cantilever or loop arms. Flip-Up, Oversized Flip-Up or ChangeUp tablet arms provide a functional worksurface for personal items.

Giancarlo Piretti

Giancarlo Piretti (Bologna, Italy, 1940) is an Industrial Designer. Among his successful designs are Plia folding chair, his best-seller exhibited at Moma NY, Platone folding desk, and DSC (106-AXIS) seating system. For Vertebra chairs he obtained the Compasso d'Oro (Italy) as well as for his largest project, Piretti Collection office & institutional seating system. Other designs include Xylon wooden chairs, Torsion collection of institutional chairs; Engage & Impulse office chair lines featured by a synchro tilt mechanism Piretti developed; #18000 nesting & stacking chairs; and the Strive chair collection. The Pirouette nesting table and Grazie and Doni chairs for KI U.S. are G. Piretti's latest designs.
