Our Square Foot Calculator is a quick, simple tool to help real estate brokers and office professionals plan a workspace with a variety of KI furniture modules.
These furniture modules include low, medium, high pricing options for the following applications:
Open Workspace
- Single-Sided Bench Workstation
- Single-Sided Classic Workstation
- Single-Sided 120 Workstation
- Dual-Sided Bench Workstation
- Dual-Sided Classic Workstation
- Dual-Sided 120 Workstation
Open Community Space
- Café Area
- Reception Area
- Table Gathering Space
- Lounge Gathering Space
Private Community Space
- Training Room
- Conference Room
- Huddle Room (Task)
- Makerspace
Classrooms
- Traditional (small, medium, large)
- Active (small, medium, large)

Private Workspace

Each application requires a designated amount of square footage and calculates the total space allocation for open workspace, private workspace, community space and classrooms. In total, the calculator tool will provide the total square footage required, along with estimated square foot cost, for selected furniture modules.
GUIDELINES
The following guidelines will help you navigate KI's Square Foot Calculator Tool.
Step 1
If you know the square footage for your space, enter in the optional field under Space Allocations.
Step 2
Review the types of applications and click the (+) sign to add quantities of a desired module. To decrease quantities, click the (-) sign. Alternatively, you may type in the quantity for each desired module (e.g., type in the number 10).
Step 3
The figures under the Furniture Cost section will compute dynamically with each selection and change you make. This section will show you:

Estimated cost per square foot based on low, medium, high furniture pricing options.

Space allocations in terms of square footage for open workspace, private workspace and community space.

Minimum square footage required for options selected. (Additional factors for circulation and add-on are automatically calculated.)
Step 4
Export your final selections to a PDF or Share via email. Click Reset Values to refresh all entries and start over.
