KI Hosts Active Design Charrette for Designers & Students

On March 3^rd, KI welcomed designers and students from the Chicago area to its showroom for an interactive charrette focusing on Active Design and the latest trends and best practices in designing with wellness in mind.

The day began with a thought-provoking CEU presented by Jonathan Webb, KI's VP Sales & Marketing -Business Market. Participants were then divided into teams and presented with a real-world design challenge. Led by team leaders from Unispace and Gensler, designers and students worked through the challenge incorporating Active Design best practices. Each team then presented their final creative design solutions.

Designers and students were present from Gensler, IA, tvsdesign, DLR Group, HED, Unispace and Columbia College Chicago. KI plans to host several more charrettes across the country in the months to come.
