KI Announces Green Bay Plant Expansion for 2017
GREEN BAY, WI - KI is pleased to announce that its Green Bay manufacturing facility will undergo a 60,000 square foot expansion in 2017. KI will break ground in January 2017 with completion expected in June 2017. The $3.3 million expansion project will accommodate the relocation of large custom injection molding equipment and provide an additional seven shipping docks to support shipping of KI product.
When asked how KI will benefit from the expansion, Green Bay Plant Manager, Stuart Kolb, said “We're experiencing great success and growth of our injection molded seating products. KI is simply running out of space and the expansion will address this issue while creating significant efficiencies and improvements in storage and shipment of KI products.”
The expansion is estimated to save nearly $500,000 in annual operating costs and will position the company to further grow its product portfolio.
