KI EMPLOYEES LACE UP FOR HEALTH AND WELLNESS AT THE 35TH ANNUAL BELLIN RUN
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE July 1, 2010
GREEN BAY, WIS. – KI employees raced in the name of health and wellness at this year’s 35th annual Bellin Run. The 10K event is one of the region’s premier sporting events and is on its way to becoming one of the largest races in the nation.
This year’s event drew a record-setting 18,398 walkers, runners and wheelchair participants—the largest field ever. As an organization, KI had 125 employees participate in the race, the highest percentage of employee participation among all Green Bay-area companies.
“At KI, our ongoing commitment to health and wellness is second to none,” said Dick Resch, chief executive officer, KI. “This exciting event is consistent with our encouragement of healthy lifestyles among our employees. Above all, it’s just great fun.”
The thousands of supporters, volunteers, and competitors that participated in the race raised money for Green Bay’s Bellin College of Nursing, an advocate for improved fitness and health in the community.
