CHICAGO – Visitors to KI’s NeoCon showroom in space #1181 of Chicago’s Merchandise Mart will see how KI’s furniture and movable walls work together to create a harmonious blend of furniture and design across multiple markets and applications.
“The KI showroom is all about simplicity and unification of design,” said Shawn Green, vice president, product management, KI. “Our showroom features a wide range of products, ideas and technologies that inspire designers to create elegant, flexible, functional environments in business, healthcare, government and education environments.”
The showroom features a large breadth of KI furniture, movable walls and technology solutions in a variety of applications and settings, such as administrative areas, lobbies, collaborative workspaces, conference rooms, classrooms and training centers.
New to NeoCon
Making headlines at NeoCon 2010 is a series of new products from KI: Unite™, the Lyra™ Collection, Strive® Nesting Chair, Soltíce® II Recliner and Smart Lift™ tables.
An integrated, flexible system that works together for all the ways people work, Unite serves as the unifying element that bridges architecture and furniture design. The Strive Nesting Chair, designed by Giancarlo Piretti, extends the Strive Collection by combining the convenience of a nesting chair with affordable comfort.
Strive’s versatile, highly mobile nesting chairs are ideal for fast-paced learning and training environments, yet elegant and comfortable enough for conference rooms. The collection’s signature flex-back allows for maximum functionality. Strive Nesting Chairs shares a common design with the rest of the Strive Collection, featuring the same look, comfort, and affordability, which simplifies specification for multiple environments.
The Soltíce II Recliner is a seating solution that offers enhanced versatility for healthcare environments, while providing durable construction, intuitive features and elegant design. While accommodating the need for comfort and safety, the Soltíce II Recliner features central-locking casters with 360-degree rotation, allowing caregivers to complete tasks with ease. Its simple, elegant design coordinates with a broad collection of other Soltíce products to create a consistent look throughout a healthcare facility.
KI’s Smart Lift table is an intuitive and secure response to managing flat screen monitors within learning or teaming environments. Smart Lift facilitates increased flexibility within multi-use settings by providing a simple and easy means of securely storing technology when it is not needed.
